Organization Information & Activities

The Congregation of the Armenian Sisters of the Immaculate Conception is a Religious Order of Nuns Established in 1847 in Constantinople for the Purpose of Educating the Armenian Youth. The Sisters Began Working in Armenia Following the Devastating 1988 Earthquake. An Advisory Board Helps the Sisters in Charting the Overall Operation of the Center and Assisting Wwith Various Projects. In Addition to Operating the Our Lady of Armenia Boghossian Educational Center in Gyumri, the Sisters are Involved in Catechetical, Cultural, and Social Activities in Villages and Towns and Organize a Summer Camp in Tsaghkadzor.
